We are not allowed to deal with any form of electric going into your building as we are not qualified electricians. This would have to be done by a suitably qualified person after the building has been put up .
Frequently Asked Shed Questions
Do you do the ground work for the buildings?
Unfortunately we do not do the bases that the building sits on. We can provide company names that can do this for you. We can also supply timber bearers to run under the shed to get it off the ground so the air can circulate underneath.
Do your sheds come ready treated?
All of our buildings come treated with our own treatment. This is a water-based treatment which is not harmful to plants, animals or children. We do recommend that the building is re-treated within 6 months of the building being put up and on a ongoing yearly basis.
What materials are your buildings made from?
All of our sheds are made with red wood. Our standard garden sheds are made with 2″ x 1- 1/2″ framework. We then use 12mm kiln-dried tongue and grooved cladding on the outside. Our heavy duty range of sheds comes with thicker framework and thicker cladding. The framework is 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″. You then have the choice of either the standard 12mm tongue and grooved cladding or the thicker cladding, which is 16mm kiln-dried burleigh shiplap. The roofs on all of our buildings are made with 1/2″ thick sterling board OSB. This is an exterior grade boarding and we put green mineral felt on top. The floors are made with 1/2″ thick tongue and grooved floor boards.
Do you charge extra to deliver and erect the buildings?
All prices are charged with delivery and installation included, which is free within a 5-mile radius of our workshop in Hempsted Thereafter the charge is £1 per mile one way up to 50 miles.
What are your delivery times?
We aim to deliver and erect the buildings between 9am and 12 noon Monday to Saturday but can be flexible to meet the customer’s needs.
Do you take orders from outside of Gloucestershire?
We take orders from anywhere in the UK, but anything over a 50-mile radius will be ‘customer collect’ only either in person or by courier.
